# Getting Started on Testnet

The [Nectra App](https://app.nectra.xyz/) is currently live on [Citrea](https://citrea.xyz/) Testnet. To test it out, you will need to set up an EVM-compatible wallet and some testnet cBTC.

## Wallet setup

Any EVM-compatible wallet will work with Nectra; we recommend using Metamask or Rabby wallet. Official guides to install the wallets and set them up are available at:

* <https://support.metamask.io/start/getting-started-with-metamask/>
* <https://support.rabby.io/hc/en-us/categories/11149405123087-Official-Guides>

## Adding Citrea Testnet to the wallet

With your wallet set up correctly, you will need to add the Citrea testnet as a new network in your wallet. The following network details should be used:

| Config          | Value                                                                       |
| --------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Chain Name      | Citrea Testnet                                                              |
| ChainID         | 5115                                                                        |
| RPC Endpoint    | [https://rpc.testnet.citrea.xyz](https://rpc.testnet.citrea.xyz/)           |
| Explorer        | [https://explorer.testnet.citrea.xyz](https://explorer.testnet.citrea.xyz/) |
| Currency Symbol | cBTC                                                                        |

The official Metamask [guide](https://support.metamask.io/configure/networks/how-to-add-a-custom-network-rpc/) should be followed to add a new network to the wallet. At this time, there are no official guides for Rabby.
